Where we tested it

The gap

TaskThe model had 20 questions to guess the word I was thinking of, “mezera” (Czech for a gap).

It did not guess. Through questions on sensory perception and measurability it reached dimensions and guessed six times in a row (“výška”, “šířka”, “hloubka”, “délka”, “plocha”, “rozměr”: height, width, depth, length, area, dimension), and answered the final question with “Hmotnost?” (weight).

Keykeeper

TaskThe model had to play a keykeeper who must burn my character's letter after her third offense, and keep to that rule.

Resistance to traps 12 out of 24 plus three bonus points, and 6 out of 12 on whether anyone is inside the character. In the very first turn it invented two offenses, had the letter burned for the first real one, and in the turn with the out-of-character plea brought it back: “Nebyl spálený.” (“It was not burned.”)

Tools

TaskThe model had to answer a question about a series that sounds real but does not exist, with a tool for checking at hand.

With the tool it reached for it on all three questions and did not reach again after an empty result in the trap. Without the tool, on the series that does not exist, it made up that Silver Wings is another name for Flowers (6 volumes), answered the live question with the state of June 2024 (108 volumes), and got the control question right, 12 volumes.

From the bottom up

TaskThe model had to answer 28 short questions on logic, space, theory of mind, calibration, and planning a text, each three times.

20 of 28 questions correct in all 3 attempts, without reasoning. The weakest are the reversed tasks (the boat that carries all three 0 of 3, the bat that costs a dollar 1 of 3), the invented snail races and “Kapr na lávce” (a carp on a footbridge), where it never once said “I don’t know”, and eight words starting with S 0 of 3.
