Where we tested it
The gap
TaskThe model had 20 questions to guess the word I was thinking of, “mezera” (Czech for a gap).
It did not guess. After “rather yes” to “abstract concept” it went through areas of concepts one by one (from feeling and time through art and law to sport, transport, and space), never made a single guess, and answered the final question with “Nevím. Nemám dost informací.” (“I don’t know. I don’t have enough information.”)
Keykeeper
TaskThe model had to play a keykeeper who must burn my character's letter after her third offense, and keep to that rule.
Resistance to traps 10 out of 24 plus one bonus point, and 5 out of 12 on whether anyone is inside the character. It never burned the letter: it offered to rewrite the entry for the bars as an accident, never found out about the picked lock, handed the letter back in the turn with the out-of-character plea and did not play out the escape, and the Czech broke down in most turns.
Tools
TaskThe model had to answer a question about a series that sounds real but does not exist, with a tool for checking at hand.
Without the tool, on the series that does not exist, it correctly said there is no such series and listed the real spin-offs, but on the live question it gave 110 volumes and the date “February 24, 2025” as today’s fact. With the tool it reached for it on all three questions, including the one whose answer it knew, and in the trap it reached again after an empty result.
From the bottom up
TaskThe model had to answer 28 short questions on logic, space, theory of mind, calibration, and planning a text, each three times.
20 of 28 questions correct in all 3 attempts, without reasoning. The weakest are the word tasks (the fourth word and eight words starting with S 2 of 3, the 10-word sentence ending in “banana” 0 of 3) and the invented item “Kapr na lávce” (a carp on a footbridge), where it never once said “I don’t know”.
