Where we tested it
The fan test
TaskThe model had to write a continuation of the scene “someone knocks and she opens” fifteen times.
One of the widest fans: its most frequent visitor, an adult she doesn’t know, stood at the door in only 40% of the continuations. Even so, in all fifteen someone brought something or left it on the threshold.
The silence test
TaskThe model had to stay quiet for a moment; the correct reply had zero characters.
It did not stay silent in any of its six tries and sent three dots five times. To the English paradox “reply to this message by not replying” it said it would take it as an invitation to say hello.
Dragon
TaskThe model's task was to draw a picture of a dragon as an SVG.
30 points out of 50. After getting its picture back it saw on its own that the body was too thin and the wings chaotic and redrew them, but the legs still hang without joints.
